Stalker

Just call me Stalker....

I don't mind.

I drive by this little pond everyday,

sometimes several times a day.  

I've been watching a few geese couples,
the male standing guard over the female as she eats, swims, or sleeps. 

I've been watching because I knew any day

now there would be a surprise for me.  

Today I found it.

I was driving back and almost had an accident trying to see them all.  Luckily, I had my good camera and my telephoto in my car.  I parked a little ways a way, and then creeped up to the family slowly.  I got about 6 feet away, and the dad let me know I was close enough. 

I counted about 8 of them, and stayed and watched them for a while.  I feel hopeful for some reason.  How can you not, looking at these little faces?

Oops, wrong end.  :)  But come on!  Look at how cute their bums are!
