Hi Bean! It's been a while since I posted. I have this picture in mind for the blog, and I keep meaning to go out to do a photo shoot in the neighborhood. But, I can't seem to get that together. Why, why, why?! Maybe I need some inspiriation..
So, in the interim while I figure out why I'm having trouble getting in touch with my inner creativity, I thought I'd post this clip. As I'm sure you know, Moonstruck is one of the family favs. John recently got it for me on DVD (which is actually harder to get than I realized). And I'm watching it tonight in pieces. I think of my whole family when I watch it. And of course, Cosmo reminds me of my dad. He has the same face shape, chubbiness and old fashioned nature. But, there's a general feel to this movie that makes me miss home and feel close to home at the same time.
Here's one of my favorite scenes. A classic.

Ali, this movie will always make me think of watching it on your brown sofa in your family room with your Mom and Dad and maybe Cyn too, all of you speaking the lines as they happened. I especially love this scene, as well as "Snap out of it."
